Francisco M.Gomez-Campos was the First Place Winner (Blue Ribbon) in the 3D category for his image "No Place to Go."

About myself: Francisco M. Gómez-Campos ( Granada, SPAIN) I was born in 1978, in Granada, Spain. I studied the degree of Physics in Granada. I did my Ph. D. in Electronic Physics in 2006, and I am currently an associate professor at the same university working in the Department of Electronics and Computer Technology.

I have interest in 3D animation. In the last two years I have been using Blender to produce educational videos for improving teaching in the university. They are available in YouTube under Creative Commons Licenses (user: fmgomezcampos).

These images were produced using Blender and the Gimp.

I recently started to explore 2D digital art from an experimental point of view. I am interested in learning about colour composition and lighting.

I have also some experience in oil painting and frescoes. I would be grateful knowing opinions about my work.
