

Claas Kuhnen teaches Industrial and Jewelry design at Kendall College of Art and Design at Ferris State University in Michigan. He is a regular contirbuter to Blender Art Magazine, an online periodical for users of the 3D art and animation program Blender. He is an expert in other 3D software packages as well, and uses these computer programs along with 3D printers to create actual objects that can be mass produced.
He was a major presenter at the Tennessee Blender Conference held here in Kingsport August of 2008, where he spoke on the use of Blender in the academic environment, lighting set ups, the use of displacement mapping to create textures (note the texture on the coffee and creamer dispensers.) He is a frequent Contributor to Blender Artist Magazine.
